These technologies, particularly in the field of imaging, can help farmers, livestock breeders, cooperatives and communities to address issues in the agricultural sector such as the need to increase productivity while implementing sustainable operations at all levels of the production chain.

The use of sensors, cameras or more complex imaging systems contributes to, among other things, monitoring and mapping of agricultural plots, selective spraying, phenotyping of plants and quality control of seeds, crops and productions, monitoring of livestock, orientation and assistance to the farmer in agricultural operations.
